Favorite watch by the SEALS

Posted by Keller & George at 1:00:00 AM in Luminox (3)

With sturdy structure and precision engineering, Luminox is no wonder a favorite watch by the US Navy SEALS and the US Coast Guard. Both agencies are faced with daily extreme conditions from rough seas to weather disturbances and the challenges of deep diving. Luminox, incidentally, is also endorsed by SCUBA legend Stan Waterman, for its noted self-powered illumination system that helps divers get the right visibility even during long, deep night dives. One of our favorite Luminox for deep diving is the Navy Seal Series. It features an impressive water-resistance depth of up to 660 feet, protecting its quartz movement accuracy and chrono, date functions. The case is protected by carbon reinforced PC and the crown features a double-security gasket. Meanwhile, the glass is hardened mineral to ensure this Luminox stands the test of, not just time, but a tough situation.

Marrying of two luxurious brands

Posted by Keller & George at 1:00:00 AM in Longines (1)

Longines is a renowned luxury global brand, so it’s only fitting that it only partners with brands of its calibre. Recently, the watchmaker has entered into an agreement with the Jockey Club, the prominent and largest British horseracing organization, to sponsor America’s Best Racing. The agreement further cemented Longines’ close association with the exclusive sports of equestrian, a favorite watering hole for the super rich. “Longines has built one of the most prominent brands in the world and The Jockey Club is honored to enter a partnership with such a prestigious entity,” James L. Gagliano, president and chief operating officer of The Jockey Club, said. On Longines’ part, Head of International Marketing Juan-Carlos Capelli said the equestrian sport has always been a part of the brand’s heritage. “Horse racing perfectly illustrates elegance, which is one of our brand’s key values,” he said.

With a little touch you can transform this underutilized open space into a nice, warm, inviting place to entice guest to your house. A nice garden retouch can be as simple as adding blossoming plants in strategic corners and polishing old iron-wrought furniture to brighten the space. Likewise, using signature tableware that fits the green surrounding should add flavor to your summer gathering. Juliska has a line of table accessories from linen to flatware and glassware that evoke a summer feel. New creative head to bring fresh style to John Hardy

Posted by Keller & George at 10:00:25 AM in John Hardy (31)

John Hardy has appointed a new design head for its Asian-inspired jewelry line and she’s bringing with her a depth in fashion design experience. Hollie Bonneville Barden is the new creative director for the artisan handcrafted jewelry signature. She’ll oversee the John Hardy collections, including its one-of-a-kind Cinta line. Acclaimed as an “industry prodigy,” Barden finished at the Central Saint Martin’s College in London and counts LVMH in her design portfolio. She was the youngest head designer in LVMH. She’s expected to bring in fresh ideas to the Bali-based jewelry brand, but the signature’s handcrafted, rustic and mystic appeal is expected to remain. Barden will be dividing her time between New York, where the company’s global showroom is, and Ubud, Bali, where the workshop and studio are located.
